I want to start by saying that I have never read any of the Artemis Fowl books so this is purely a review of the the movie. It felt fast disconnected badly edited and horribly directed. I never thought that I would watch a movie more poorly directed than the 2006 screen adaptation of Eragon but I just watched it...and by the way I read all of the Eragon books. Judi Dench and Colin Farrell are both respectable actresses and actors and this made them look bad. Perhaps Disney should spend more time worrying about story substance and less about filling Disney Plus with worthless content. Just because you can doesn't mean that you should.
