Not sure what the low score come from but I loved this movie. The movie was essentially about an unknowingly mother growing to take full responsibility for children she was destined to protect that she didn’t know but soon to know. I enjoyed the sense of adulthood contrasting teenagers. I enjoyed the dialogue as I thought it was charming between the protagonist and her circle of people, even the kids.

Despite its many cinematic and practical flaws in this drama, I throughly overlook those and enjoyed the show for what it is. If you like Wuxia and ancient Chinese period flicks with a love story, lots of twist, likeable heroine and especially satisfying climaxes, you’ll enjoy this.

Probably the best movie of the year..
