Firstly, nothing could ever beat the first game, but this game is incredible in so many ways. I’ve seen a lot of hate online about it but it’s from people who don’t understand the story. The graphics are absolutely incredible and you can see how much hard work has been put into making the little things matter. The story is different from the first game but it has so many more layers which makes it interesting and thought provoking. It may not be what people expected but that doesn’t make it a bad game. I enjoyed every part of the game - the gameplay is very similar to the first game which makes it easy to follow, the gameplay transitions seamlessly to the cinematics and the enemies are a lot smarter which creates a more challenging and dynamic experience. There may be some things that make you sad or angry in the game but it’s what makes it amazing - it evokes emotion in the player. Don’t write off the game just because it’s not what you expected. Overall an incredible game!
