At one point i startled to wonder if I really cared about the film long enough to see it to the end - thought okay a couple of more minutes then it really grabbed me. I think the uncertainty underlying the beginning of the script / film only served to augment the intensity of the process of getting to the end. As for critics , well those who can, do and those who can't critique. I suppose all one can do is ignore them in their own little world of hyper pseudo - intellectual egotism. A pox on all of them.
