No character development. No story. No real threat of death (drama). But, if you like to see Jason Statham do his thing you'll love it.
As a movie for a movie's sake it's a 1. None of what makes a movie a great, even good movie; character, story, drama. There isn't any at all. It's only plot. And the ending felt really rushed.
Statham doesn't talk much in the movie, but Jeremy Irons (that poor man to stoop so low in a movie so far below his caliber) explains everything via dialogue. Movies are visual, try explaining it that way, but no, probably too difficult for the production staff.
If the movie was actually good- compelling it would have been so fulfilling watching Jason do his thing. But as it stands they could just clip all the fight scenes together, show only that and it would be pretty much the same. And they could have saved money.
