It's a lot of fun. Is it predictable? Yes. But, it's fun. Hats off to the director and writer. There's one scene where two agents are driving to the airport that is fantastic the way it's shot. You feel like you're along for the ride. Simple predictable and fun. Jason Bateman as always is terrific. His style of delivery is perfect for his character. He stands out. Lots of fun. It's the new "Die Hard" Christmas movie, without that much Christmas in it.

It's not terrible. But, it's not good either. It's what you get when you try to develop a book into a 90 minute made for TV movie. It could have used the added half hour and make it a 3 hour made for TV movie. If you're interested in seeing it you should probably just read the book. Unless you're a Harmon fan. I just wish it was a better movie for him.

This is difficult. It's a great show. Great actors. Great drama. Great story. Great production. But OMG it is really hard to watch. It's loud, chaotic, stressful and at times very disturbing, but that's the story, dealing with alcoholism. So, if you can make it through the tough episodes it's amazing.

No character development. No story. No real threat of death (drama). But, if you like to see Jason Statham do his thing you'll love it. As a movie for a movie's sake it's a 1. None of what makes a movie a great, even good movie; character, story, drama. There isn't any at all. It's only plot. And the ending felt really rushed. Statham doesn't talk much in the movie, but Jeremy Irons (that poor man to stoop so low in a movie so far below his caliber) explains everything via dialogue. Movies are visual, try explaining it that way, but no, probably too difficult for the production staff. If the movie was actually good- compelling it would have been so fulfilling watching Jason do his thing. But as it stands they could just clip all the fight scenes together, show only that and it would be pretty much the same. And they could have saved money.

I like what Ang Lee tried to do; no spoken dialogue, only a few texts in the right places. It was interesting and it worked. You really didn't need the dialogue to feel what Lee was offering. But, this film is really (and I mean really) dark. It's essentially a character study on what can happen to someone's psyche if they don't go through the grieving process. If that interests you. And Ang Lee does a really good job of making you feel the weight of it. And it is heavy. That said, is it 2.4 stars? That's up to the individual, of course. I didn't like it because of the mirk I felt like I had to wash off me by watching a wonderful, light-hearted "G" rated rom-com right after. But, it was a good movie from a creative, technical aspect.

As a movie with story it's absolute garbage. There is no story. It's all plot. As a character study it's terrific. Essentially, it's a two hour character study centered around a revenge plot.

For a hero called "Invincible" he sure does get his butt kicked A LOT. Granted, he's new to all this. That said, it's a terrific show/cartoon/animated series. It is created by Robert Kirkman. That should be enough to warrant interest. But, again, that said... really good.

You might be fooled by all the CGI that this movie is better than it actually is. The best thing about this movie was David Harbour's character. Terrific. The CGI would be second. Everything else was a far third. Racing. Second. Third. The movie wasn't even as bad as that word play. It has problems. There's really no drama because you already know how it's going to end, but they way it's done is ridiculously obvious, expected and unoriginal, no real creative thought. He needs to come in fourth or else. And on the absolute last chance race he comes in fourth. Wow... not exactly glued to my seat. Sad for such a great true story and a great video simulator. The movie, unless you're blinded by all the "shiny" is a blemish on the franchise.

The actors are great. The characters... not so much. This like all the other wannabe Star Wars shows Disney keeps coming up with; Mandalorian, Obi-wan, The Book of Boba Fett (1 season, wow), Andor. They're all just okay. Everything about them is just okay. There's nothing remarkable in any of them; characters, plot, storylines, even antagonists. You just want them to be better. It's an urge, to live up to the brand they're living off the coat tails of. I keep my fingers crossed, hoping the next season will move something. The definition of stupid; doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. Go me.

A very solid B+ series... shame it only had 3 seasons. You really get a feeling for what life is like in the northern territories. The plot lines are unique (can't say I've seen or there's been another series like it). The characters are very human and relatable. I was sad when I finished.
