Four start because I think they missed the opportunity to add some depth and backstories to some main characters, even if it would have meant added fiction. Nevertheless, a brilliant film to portray the DNA of Gran Turismo itself on top if a great cinematic production of Jann Mardenborough's story. As a former gamer and knowing Jann's story, the original trailer made me very sceptical at first, but the actual movie is an exciting piece of entertainment which straps you into the passenger seat for its entire duration. If you are a former or current GT player, get your tissues ready because a lot here will hit you right in the feels as you will experience many moments a lot more intensely than the average viewer!

Great show, slow start but you groove into the mystery rather quickly and cannot help but binge it. Icelandic folklore in combination with its beautiful scenery greatly lends itself for a show. Reading other reviews I must say though that I feel offended by others' disappointment in character depth and dialogue. This is an Icelandic production with a plot that takes place in Iceland and logically an Icelandic cast. Anyone who is remotely appreciative of other cultures, language and communication ort has been to Iceland themselves will realize that this is authentic. In relative comparison to Anglophone language and expression, the Icelandic nature is maybe more composed, slower and overall expressed with less physical gesticulation and shorter sentences.
