Do not watch. As an Indigenous person who is a large fan of horror and slashers, this film produces the exact opposite of what it is trying produce. By attempting to comment on violence and colonial practices against indigenous people, showing the rage of indigenous people and the colonized, this film only portrays the colonized themselves as violent. Someone with no context will only come away as see indigenous people as crazy and barbaric, and the white peoples as victims of indigenous savagery. Every non political slasher and non indigenous horror film I have seen, ones that do not include large historical commentary, do a better job at speaking out against violence than this indigenous slasher that is clearly meant to. The irony and counterproductivity of this messege makes it one of the worst films I have ever seen. Harsh pass

Doesn't really hold next to the originals, the canon is a bit spotty, but its a cute spin off. It only works as a spinoff though. The humor in the originals, especially the third one, always felt very animated in the best way, so it was inevitable that they make this.

It starts off okay, but the last hour does not need to exist. The Chinese accents make it really nerv wracking to listen to and it feels like the Chinese actors in the film are making fun of themselves. The lack of the humor and the wit of the original and the overly dramatic interpretation of the story makes this remake one of the worst Disney remakes ever made. Only giving it three stars because it still holds most of the plot the whole way through, but I would not watch this remake. Watch the original.

Animation is very good and engaging but the story is too bland, the humor is too forced, and the characters are too cliched. The story glorifies power and kingdoms in a very ego based way that does not land well. Inconsistencies between what the filmmakers were trying to do verses what they actually did. Hard pass.

Pretty trippy reminded me of my childhood since I had an imaginary friend as a kid. A little anti climactic overall but not bad. Classic and predictable concept for a horror movie. Still very well made especially the first part.

I think the concept is creative but the sequel has terrible writing. It does not go anywhere interesting and the film does not spend enough time on the characters the way that the first film did. The series is going in a very disappointing direction. This one felt more like horror for the sake of horror whereas the first one actually had some base and emotion. Do not watch.

One of the worst and most convoluted horror movies you will ever see. It makes fun of sentimentality, it is horror for the sake of horror, and it is a teenage plug flick with a full on click bait plot. The only thing memorable is Pennywise's voice which defines a generation of judgemental osmosis centric pop eaters. Take this from a fan of horror.

Incredible show. Brings in the realities of life in a way that mirrors that of the book. Great inspirational twist on the Shirley Jackson novel. Dark and thrilling as all good shows need to be, while also making the audience think of the harsh side effects of trauma. Best elevated horror show there is.

One of the best films of our generation. My favorite movie of all time. Shows the world the way it really is, bringing in a harsh but real commentary of society. Uses the typical pattern of two "archetypal" characters meant to portray the fast paced nature of our culture. Would recommend to anybody.

Better than the book that's for sure
