The movie was a huge disappointment. The movie can compete with Oldboy for the title of Spike Lee’s worst. To begin with, the timelines and characters’ ages make no sense. Even if we overlooked this and countless other plotholes (there are way too many and some are unintentionally funny), the movie is still unwatchable due to lack of an engaging plotline and terrible acting. There are long stretches where the movie fails to build any tension thus losing the viewer’s attention. And to top it, this might be the worst acting seen in a movie of this budget. Norm Lewis as Eddie gives a laughably terrible performance. Overall a bad movie that should be avoided.
