In 1933 the Nazi party burned down the institute of sexology, which was the largest respected source on gender and sexuality. Now, almost a century later, after BETTER science has come around, this film aims to reignite the ignorance of the Nazis and spread false transphobic information to the audience of impressionable pudding brains that watch it... beyond being factually wrong top to bottom, this is a hate crime in slow motion. People coming in to defend this film, or claim that the Trans members "had their defenses up" when being interviewed by Walsh et al don't consider that you don't need to be courteous to an oppressor, and every argument and attempt to debate them was a weak strawman. You'd be better suited slammed an appendage in a car door

I dozed off twice in the theatre, sadly. I was extremely excited for this film and still await. Rob Marshall is a terrible director and he has ruined the childhood memories of millions. No complaints about Emily Blunt, Lin-Manuel Miranda or their performances, but the songs were forgettable, the effects were impressive and the sum of the whole is just a joyless mess
