Haven’t seen it yet, but it’s hard for me to believe that Costner could create anything good.

Oh, dear God, no. Not more of that voice!

I have followed Husky crew since I was a kid in the Fifties. Clooney’s “Boys” is remarkable for its accuracy and attention to detail. How many directors would have known or cared that a respected local sports writer, Royal Brougham, followed and reported Washington rowing? How did he create so accurately the ASUW crew house and George Pocock’s boat-building workshop? The Boys singing “Bow Down to Washington”? Yes, quite possible. It was written in 1915, and was commonly sung at football games. This is an excellent film. I score it the finest sports film I have ever seen.

Interesting, informative. Uzo Aduba is excellent as Edie Flowers.

Very disappointing. The pace is slow, the plot very disjointed, almost nonexistent, really. Visually satisfying, but that’s about it, I’m afraid.

Excellent story. Set during a curious episode in history, the time of the Irish “fasting girls.” Florence Pugh is wonderful in her leading role as the nurse. Until now, I had never realized what a very accomplished actress she is, watch this film.

A fictional series that actually includes some pretty good history.

This flic is quirky enough that it will become an instant cult classic. It’s pretty good, and that opinion come from an old guy who doesn’t always share the same tastes with his granddaughter. On this film we both agree.

This is an acting tour de force by Julia Roberts. I never really appreciated what an enormous talent she is.

Interesting concept, but not very well realized. Howard plays a blind girl who seems to have second sight, but unfortunately her movements and actions as a blind person are simply not convincing. I looked forward to seeing Joachin Phoenix work, but unfortunately his role offers him no opportunities to show his range. Actually, the story would work be much more interesting if the roles of Howard and Phoenix were reversed, Phoenix playing the blind protagonist, Howard his wounded fiancée, stabbed by her jealous sister.
