Dave Schaffer

This is the most amazing animated film I’ve ever seen, and as a long-time fan of animation I’ve seen plenty. And I’m very particular. And I will add that this is now one of my absolute favorite films. Of any kind. Period. I’m no writer, no poet, so I won’t, can’t, begin to describe it or my reactions to it. This is a must see work of art.

Liked it a lot. What’s not to like? Comfort food. Very well done. And very predictable in every way.

Great movie. Learned about India: overwhelming poverty and corruption.I won’t be going there.

Liked it a lot. Way over the top visually.Fantastic choreography, singing and dancing. Wildly extravagant in many ways and congratulations to the actors for being able to carry off the incredibly over-the-top dialogue and scenery-chewing emotions which, if done by anyone other than top professionals, would have doomed this truly “out there” musical.

An "art film." Critics often like, even love, these types, but the general public doesn't . This one had a very limited release and disappeared immediately. I'm a little ashamed to agree with the great unwashed but I really didn't see what the critics saw.Sorry. Emperor's new clothes. A strong piece of art though. Just not for me.
