A travesty of an adaptation of one of our greatest writers novel. The story made no sense at all.

Lots of good SFX and plenty of action but nowhere near as good as the book.

Rather disappointed with this drama. The characters never really came to life, despite the rather good cast, and the weak storyline limped on to a totally uninspiring end. I know it had some sex and violence in it but it was really more suited for showing on CBBC.
