Splendid, outrageous and captivating, even if you’re not especially a lover of cats or the musical. Was looking forward to Francesca Hayward’s role, knowing her previously from the ballet world... and she nailed it/clawed it! Don’t know what the fuss is about how it looks, because it looks wonderful to me. Looking forward to see what Tom Hooper does next, doubt it would be Cats II because of the strange reviews, but then again, I would love to see it!! Again, shout out to Hayward’s performance, she can emote just from her eyes like no one I’ve ever seen. A new Audrey Hepburn in the making, and comparing Hepburn’s debut film Roman Holiday to Cats, yes Cats would seem strange, and maybe it’s an odd comparison... but Cats is always going to be the curved fur ball, you either love or hate.
