No Face

Wasted 2 hours hoping for answers and was left confused and disappointed. The build up really wasn’t worth it. Not sure why this movie is rated so well or why people are leaving comments saying it made them “nauseous.” There really wasn’t anything shocking except the weird way they talked, but eventually it lost its effect. 2/10 for me.

Besides the whitewashing (Emma Stone being casted as Chinese Hawaiian is laughable), the romance was pretty bland. I live in Hawaii and I remember a lot of people laughing at the trailer in the theatres.

It was good. I was expecting it to be bad because of the reviews. The people who are b*tching about it being bad either 1) Didn’t realize it’s part of a series or 2) Never watched the first movie.
