Loved the movie right up until the end when the political messaging came in. I decided not to finish the movie but the funeral scene was so over the top, would recommend watching it for the funeral scene lol.

Phase 4 of the MCU has prepared DC to take over as the quality Super Hero film studio.

Episode 1 and 2 were alright at best but episode 3 and 4 were a total snoozefest, probably not going to watch the rest of the show.

So far I’ve been super underwhelmed by this show. The chase scenes w/ Leia were probably the worst chase scenes I’ve watched in a non spoof show/movie. It’s been super predictable so far. Hoping the show pics up a bit.

SPOILER WARNING. I really enjoyed the movie, the fights and special moves were perfect, I can get on board with the cinematic approach (the whole part about the dragon marking) I didn’t mind this part as much because I thought it was a way to make sense of the human characters having special abilities. It feels like the fast forward button is pressed once Kano gets his eye lazer, doing a fight montage for the big final sight sequence was such a weak editing choice. When it got to the end my friend and I were texting each other saying their had to be more to the film. There was zero explanation why Raiden took Hanzos baby......did he just drop it off somewhere and forget about about the bloodline? Shang Tsung could have done something at the end of the movie, don’t spend the whole movie building up a tournament that never happens, especially if we aren’t going to get a big boss showdown w/ Shang Tsung. Are there any consequences on the elder god level of Shang Tsung trying to kill off the earth realm fighters before the tournament? Cole could have had some cooler powers other than getting body armor, why not just make his character play Takeda? I liked the movie but Kano was the only character w/ personality. Would still recommend it, strong fights but weak character development and story, still 4 stars though lol.
