I don't know how I missed this film when it first came out. Absolutely superb and so, so moving. Tissues at the ready! Martin Landau and Judy. Parfitt are wonderful - the hurt, disbelief, fear and tension captured perfectly. A reminder of the depravation and cruelty of man; atrocities which should never be forgotten. Ten Stars!

Magnificent! Gripping! Heartrending! Not one special effect. Instead, the acting is centrepiece coupled with the unforgettable catalogue of songs and beautiful costumes. The real power of the film, however, lies in its poignancy as one is forced to accept there never was a yellow brick road and the dreams of the little girl who made 'Over The Rainbow' her own never did come true ...
