I think it was very difficult job for dev anand to choose this film but he did it for his friend raj Khosla because in those days dev was doing romantic film before and after due to story demand hero can not much express his love to heroine nor she to hero. At that time people who have seen this film must be in the impresion that in the last both will get together after Knowing the end it affected the box office collection. I too was surprised aliias it is a good film. Tough job for raj&dev to keep the small love scene in Ltd. Boundary. This story was repeated in 'zameer' but the end of 'zameer' was different

Very amazing 60% star cast of kala pathar worked in shaan. I think shashi kapor was not fit for this big film. Only film in which big villain is speaking to his enemy in polite & gentleman manner without using any abusive words. Very few people know that dogs chase scene was originally done by sunil dutt himself after so many retakes which was very dangerous & it is one of the best scene in the film.

This film did not done good business but avg.business because at that time 2 big films Qurbani & Karz were doing good business which effected its business still in todays dt. People like to watch this film very eagearly. Before this film or after no director has shown dareness to make action packed film on the sub.of train. Hats off to ravi chopra. Qawwali is beautiful picturised in the film. In this 3 sound tracks has been used, 1 for speeding train, 2 for speeding car &3 for qawwali sequence in train & keeping all sound track in 1 sound track is very difficult. Brilliant work done by r.d.burman & ravi chopra. Full marks to this film

This is musical film. This was the first time that rd give chance to sing all male song to shailender singh & 1 song to c.gadgil. Today's dt. All song r on the top, lot of melody in it. Beautiful location & camera work. I Think film should re-release in Dolby it will create the history, todays generation will like it. The songs r more ahead then today, lot of freshness. Story is weak, songs cover the story.

Inkaar is one of the best action packed film with lot of thrill & mystery of the 70's & debut movie of raj n.sippy though it did avg. Box office collection. As on dt. It is cult acton classic movie having 3 songs. In those days filmmaker used to have 6/7 songs in their films. 'Mugda' song was not so much hit, it become big hit after many years now also people like to watch & listen. USP of the film is action scene which is very beautifully picturised and above all amjad khan best tight performance after sholay as a villain or any other film.

Very few people know that r.d.burman was giving music for this film but laxmipyarelal replaced him by subash ghai due to this r.d. felt very bad and after sometime he suffered heart attack. In those days r.d. was facing bad phase of his carrier & this film was very big for him to revive his carrier. Laxmipyare & r.d. were very good friends. Why ghai replaced r.d.that is unknown. Now days ghai is also facing the bad phase as his many films also flopped after 'Taal'. Everyone has his days. Still people will love r.d. music for next 100 years.

This is the only hindi film in which shree ram lagoo played full flashed soft spoken villain wearing thick glass spect roaming his eyes behind it. Raj n.sippy took risk taking character actor as tough villain role. S.lagoo has worked raj n.sippy in his earlier films also. A watchable movie with good music, storyline & cinematography.

Basu-manohari has given the music for the 1st time. They were long time music assit. Director of sd & rd burman. On listening the music of this film one will feel the base of music of rd burman which is very impressive. Songs are very melodious.

Naseeb was the first film of which short trailor was introduce on the tv to promote, on seeing this people were excited to see this film, Which boosted box office collection tremendously. Marketing of this film was very high in sort of every media. At that time other producer also used this type of promotion on tv which worked till now. Naseb was biggest grosser of 1981.

'ddd' did avg.business on box office but the film was capable to do very good business on b.o. Fantastic comedy storyline as compared to previous film of priyadarshan. Hats off to script, story, screenplay writer. A very big multistarrer film in modern era. This type of film were made by manmohan desai. Priyadarshan handled very carefully every character. The main USP of the film is supporting actors who have given full justice to their role.70% co-actor has taken the responsibility on their shoulder. Not easy work to direct so many actors hard work can be seen. Every character whether it is small/big has important role. After hrishikesh mukherjee, Priyadarshan is the only director who can give good healthy comedy film. 'DDD' can be watch 1000 times as compared to todays foolish films.
