I love this film not only for its cast ( Luna Turner, Donna Reed, Van Heflin, Edwin Gwenn, Richard Hart,etc.), but it's a very good period mixed with an earthquake and tidal wave from nature, a romance or an attempted romance, a woman who dedicated her life to being a catholic nun and the usual misunderstandings between people. I love period pieces as a kid and to this day. There's something those "old school" actors and actresses had that's clearly missing today.
