I want to keep it simple. It's a pathetic movie. 1 out of 5 stars. That's it.

This show is quite terrifying and groundbreaking not just because of jump scares it has to offer but because of an exceptionally well written story that completely do justice with how characters develop throughout the journey. The environment, background scores and its unique way of storytelling are some of the key aspects which make this show unique and scintillating to watch. Jump scares also do their job quite effectively, for example.. one of the instance when Shirley and Theo are on their way to Hill House to save Luke and all of a sudden Nell's ghost appears to prevent them from fighting and so on. The way with which each episode progresses with back and forth time jumps from present to past and vice versa is quite intelligently done by the makers. This show is going to have its own cult following in future.

Watched it yesterday and its be safe to say that this marks the grand return of Mr.Cage to the world cinema and without a doubt one of his best performance till date. Its all about revenge and a good example of what a classic slasher movie should be from the perspective of protagonist. With goofy background design and lighting effects, this movie stands out as one of the rare classic that has the capability to soak viewers into it quite effortlessly. A must watch for sure..
