Sadly the sequel is a drag. It's not worth the time. It's just more 1980's nostalgia with a pointless plot, and has to break the world of RP1 to try and work.

Ready Player 2 is an abysmal venture into a rehashed universe that, like the Savings and Loan crisis of the 1980's, also sucked.
