There's a pretty stark metaphor in this film that for me does what the recent Matrix failed in attempting to translate. I guess while you're caught up in debating the images on the screen, pointing out the obvious and scratching the surface while yelling there's no depth, it won't be caught. Better to stroke the back of your phone case and let your thumbs feel clever while it wraps around your spine.
