Excellent movie 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻🥳🥳🥳

A very good first half. But second half got disoriented especially towards climax. One of the best performances of Kunjacko. Story is really good and nice imagination of the writer. However climax was poorly planned. Casting Nayanthara in the movie was also not a good decision, I'd say. Many unwanted scenes could have been replaced with good scenes that would have aided a better climax.

Trance, a brilliant opportunity lost! Without Fahadh, the movie would definitely have been a Flop. Even then the movie didn't give justice to Fahadh's JC character. The character JC was not fully developed. Several other characters too. Chemban Vinod was wasted in the movie. What about Nazriya's character? Was it needed afterall? The only character i think was well developed and well executed was Vinayakan's character. And to a good extend the Viju Prasad character of Fahadh. According to me the movie should have been told from the angle of Vinayakan and Fahadh should have been given an extended Cameo. Can you imagine the stage scenes being acted by Prithviraj or Jayasurya or Asif Ali or Indrajith or Tovino or Kunjacko or Nivin? Just because it was Fahadh, those scenes didn't fail. That means there was immense pressure on Fahadh to perform. Luckily he is a good actor and he did well. Avarachan initially as a strict tutor and later as a mere sidekick, Dharmajan's scene were all failures. Soubin character too was not given any much importance. I just give 2 stars. Mainly for cinematography and the cool villain and brilliant Fahadh.

A huge opportunity lost! Direction and script is very poor. Script writer seems to be participating in an essay writing competition. No heart to the dialogues. BGM is a let down. Action sequences are too boring. Mammooty should stop playing roles that doesn't fit him. Unni Mukundan should stop acting completely and concentrate on modeling. Why was Prachi Tehlan casted in this movie? What's the relevance of Mukutthi song? No answers. I reckon the base story was good but storytelling was very poor.

To me, Virus is a masterpiece. Well executed, carefully scripted and decently done in all areas. Especially because this movie has a social, political and historical relevance, the attempt made by the director and the crew deserves acclamation.

Prajesh Sen's directorial debut is NOT a catastrophe or a failure. But it cannot be considered a superb movie. It has its good moments and not so well moments. Its slow at certain places, but has some very good scenes too. Splendid performance by Anu Sithara - thats the highlight of the movie. Siddique and Saiju Kurup did their part very well. Jayasurya's acting as usual is a let down. His facial expression gives a feeling that he has had constipation for several days and is now sitting on the toilet to give a try. From the very first scene were he is about to take a penalty kick to the last scene at the railway station - its this bland face that he displays always. Many misunderstand this for good acting!! Background score and songs are good.
