My daughter and I read the book together and were so excited to see the movie! We were both completely disappointed that the movie did such a poor job of capturing the integral parts of the book! They did an awful job of creating the conflict which changed the entire integrity of the book. It was like they cut up the book, picked up a few pieces and put it back together in a different order and left out the parts mattered. So discouraging!
