Just finished binge watching all four seasons of this incredible production. Wow, what an accomplishment! Thank you (and thank you to Jamie for the scottish purr that will never leave my brain!) But that being said, Season 4 had some serious flaws. Not the least being relegating Claire and Jamie to flat, secondary characters. Nobody wants that. Bree and Roger have no business taking center stage when one of the most romantic couples ever is waiting in the wings. And then there was the first meeting between Jamie and Bree? Shouldn't that have been exquisite? (rather than pishing). And what about Bree slapping Jamie's face (horrible), or Jamie nearly beating Roger to death without inquiry (don't buy it). Humiliating Jamie (and by extension us) for no good reason is not the way to go (IMO). Let's hope Season 5 gets us all back to swooning!
