I am not sure how to agree with some of the positive reviews of this series which calls the show "mind blowing" etc. I have to agree with 1-star raters in that the show was OK at best. The build up dragged for far too long; the storyline was far too predictive, with a lot of loose threads that basically made the small population of 127 seem outright stupid. The endless monologues and 5 minute speeches took away from any horror element to a point I had to skip them. Some of the CGI gave a comic element, again, missing any horror mark. This is completely different to previous works by Flanagan, and I hope against hope that this will not be the new standard for him.
