Sometimes good, sometimes so so. It is a marathon listen in the audio books. Some of the books are around 40 hrs long. My problem is that the main protagonist is unlikeable... petulant, bad tempered, childish, . The battle scenes start to get repetitive and boring. I start getting restless listening to them. For the most part the writing is good but the characters tend to get a little flat. As far as the audio books the narrator's are outstanding and I like that they used the same narrators through the whole series.

I was a fan of this show in the beginning but now the plot is all over the place. It seems that the writers are just winging it trying to find something that works. First Richard Kindrick (Terry O'Quin) was the big powerful bad guy but then he's killed off too easily. Emily is good/bad/lost/good/who knows. The reporter was good then bad then conflicted. I get the idea that the writers haven't even figured out what the 'mission' of the androids is yet. It's nice that the lead character is not the typical hot chick and she's believable as a police chief. But I'm jaded after Lost and others of this genre that have a story arc that hasn't been figured out completely and it ends up in an incoherent mess that leaves questions unanswered.
