As someone who has been in the high ranks of the world when it comes to online modes, playing ultimate team since NHL 14, thousands of hours into this franchise... I can safely say that this is the worst NHL game created. Ea, it is officially time to hand over the rights of the NHL franchise. There's so much wrong with this game. Pace of play is so unbelievably slow that it's painful to watch, settings reset when you close the game, poke checking got nerfed so bad where you may as well not even have an R1 button on your controller at all, hitting is brutal. All I can say is at least franchise mode exists

If I could rate this game -5 stars I would. I thought maybe there was a chance for the nhl franchise when they moved to frostbite engine. Boy was I wrong. If you haven't bought this game yet, do yourself the world's largest favor and don't waste your money. If you wanted to find out what is bad about this game you may as well search what parts of the game are actually good because it would be a very short list
