Amazing series, a bit strange at first but after the second episode was totally hooked, got totally drawn in with excellent acting and the set was amazing it as got something for everyone a great viewing, shame there was only 8 episodes a great twist at the end so should make great viewing for the 2nd series.

Yet again the BBC got it totally wrong, first with War of the Worlds and now with A Christmas Carol the most dark piece of TV I have watched it got so bad It sent me to sleep, great for Insomniacs, it was slow I would have rather wacthed a snail walk across the floor, in fact I never got to see the end of the second episode. If the BBC keep on delivering trash I can understand and agree that the licence fee should be abolished, all these so called experts who working within the BBC need to be replaced and start to deliver quality TV

Didn't follow the book was slow and kept on shifting forward and backwards, The BBC had a chance of creating something spectacular and the 1st episode was promising but then went down rapidily and by the 2nd episode it got so bad it became a third rate show, by the 3rd and thank god the last episode it was just cring, the special affects was something done on a 25year old computer the aliens were laughable the acting was poor, a shame really as it had a decent cast who just there going through the lines. Totally disapointed and shows that the BBC have lost the plot in good dramas.
