Antony Starr acts out every single emotion in the history of humanity without batting an eye and completely disappears into the character of Lucas Hood, which is an especially impressive feat considering how synonymous he now is with the utterly insane villain Homelander.

The first season has some of the most top-notch acting I’ve ever seen (especially Evan Rachel Wood and Jeffrey Wright). Jimmi Simpson was also an incredibly surprising dramatic actor, as I’ve only known him as Liam McPoyle prior to this.

A great sci-fi film that thrives despite its possibly confusing story. Kyle MacLachlan does an incredible job as Paul Atreides, and while the dated effects add a good bit of camp, they are effective enough to convey what is happening.
