This was just a completely unbelievable story, I gave 4 stars bc i couldn´t stop watching, but this was just nuts. In order to believe this, you´d have to completely suspend all your common sense and logical thinking. It seemed like a pretty obvious attempt to either clear the parents conscience, and probably turn the story more in their favor. I just can´t believe anyone, especially parents to 3 girls could be so gullible and blind. Through the beginning, I tried to believe it, It was a different time, in most small towns like that pedophilia was basically unheard of, so I gave it the benefit of the doubt going in, I hadn´t read any of these reviews and it seemed like an intriguing description. I didn´t make it very far before I found myself asking, Really?! Even in a different time, i´m pretty sure there are people in the 1600s that would have been able to spot those red flags and warning signs. 1.) out of 3 female children, he only wants to spend time alone with one? 2.) He was their neigbor for what, 2 years? Not all their life, or even a long time, like they try to paint the picture. 3.) After the father and the wife has sexual experiences with him, they don´t start questioning the moral integrity of this man (even though they are deeply religious?) 4.) No alarm bells when you hear about your child acting strangely on their trips? 5.) There gone for days and instead of calling the cops she called the FBI? Idk thatś weird to me...I´m not an expert, maybe that´s what you´re supposed to do, but if my child was missing for day I think I´d call the cops, IF as they say they really thought there was nothing illicit going on, it was some kind of mistake, then wouldn´t you at least be trying to call the hospitals or something to see if she´d been injured? I mean i can´t put myself in their shoes on this bc i would never be in that situation, my daughter goes with no one besides my immediate family, and even if by some insane scenario that happened, I would be out looking for her myself within an hour or 2 of her not coming home when she was supposed to, definitely would have called the cops, hospitals, and been driving around looking, not falling asleep wondering where she was as they did in this movie. Idk I could go on but I think you see where I´m going with this. That was all basically prior to the FIRST kidnapping. I think this title is extremely misleading, it didn´t seem like she was abducted from plain sight twice. About halfway into the film, the question popped into my head, ¨These parents are crazy people. Did they agree to let this man take their daughter?" and then he said the exact same thing i was thinking later in court, that they let him take her. he said in exchange for sexual favors, making it seem like it was just a big sex thing they all had going on, you can screw our child if you screw us, or at the very best scenario, the parents were just crazy (not sick like B) and decided their own embarrassment was more important than locking this guy up. So idk, if the parents were in on it or just not the best parents, but no matter what story they try to create through this film, the details they came up with are just too out there.

I haven´t watched all of Season 5 yet, but I wanted to leave a review since this is one of my all time favorite shows. I´m re-watching from the beginning now before I finish it, I love it so much this is probably the 4th time I´ve seen season 1, but it never gets old. When I first started watching, I thought it was going to be some type of Harry Potter style rip off with the whole ´alienated boy goes to magic school´ storyline, but this is a whole new level of greatness that in my opinion is every bit as good as harry potter, and actually for adults this is probably better. The entire story is brilliant, unique, never bores you, it´s perfect. The twists and turns keep you hanging on. It always takes you by surprise, and never turns out the way you expect. The writing is perfect. The characters are well developed, realistic, relatable, perfect. I´m probably using the word perfect a lot but that´s because this show really is perfect.

This is one of those shows I knew was going to be funny, it kept popping up on Netflix based on my likes and recently watched, but I kept putting it off like I do with a lot of shows I end up loving, looking for something better. I tend to binge watch more serious shows and save the comedies for bedtime, but after I started watching this, by the end of the first episode I was hooked and find myself watching it all day long. First, it´s absolutely hilarious. The whole story is insanely funny. The jokes are on point. The characters are all crazy in their own way but you still love them, or maybe thatś why you love them, idk. Anyways, also, its not just a bunch of pointless laughs, the actual storyline will keep you watching to find out what happens. And then thereś the songs. Even without the songs this would be great but add them in and itś truly one of the funniest shows I´ve ever seen. If you´re like me and you´ve been putting off watching this just stop. I´m almost through season 1 now and I just have to say, the ONLY reason I´m glad I put off watching it is that itś exactly what I needed to lift my spirits a bit after being stuck in the house through all this Covid stuff. If you´re looking for a temporary solution to cabin fever give this a watch, it may not fix the world but it will definitely give your mind a break from all the worries in the world as you focus on this (probably) clinically insane womans wild antics trying to win the heart of her childhood crush/summer love. If you like Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Arrested Development, Parks and Recreation, The Office, this is definitely one more comedy series to add to your favorites list :)

I don´t understand all the bad reviews, I nearly passed on it because of them, but I´m glad I decided to watch it. The monsters are terrifying, the special effects are great, and the storyline was great. Of course if you´re a fan of Silent Hill you´ll love it more, but even if this is the only one you watch you´ll still enjoy some truly nightmarish monsters and truly scary moments. In a world of mediocre horror movies that rely on cheap jump scares, or overdone gore, or even just a great cast like some to make their impact, this one stands out actually as a good movie. this really stands out. I´m a big fan of all types of horror, everything from b-movies and horror comedies to supernatural to monster movies to slasher flicks, and everything in between, and I enjoy them whether they´re actually scare of just a little creepy, but I have to say Silent Hill Revelations really earns itś place in my list of favorite SCARY movies. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, is I felt like they didn´t build enough on the characters before jumping into the adventure, if it was just maybe 5 or 10 more minutes of getting to know more about the characters, I think it could have made it sooo much better. Just a little more detail showing more about how close she and her dad were and a little more of her and vincent bonding, no way she´d have opened up to him like she did when they´d barely spoken 2 sentences to each other.
