*அஞ்சாமை* is a bold attempt by the creator based on the present hardships and trauma faced by majority of students who cannot afford to face the financial hardships to get through the NEET process imposed on them. The movie directly exposes the difficulties and the inherent flaws coupled with exorbitant costs involved in the process of becoming a qualified doctor. The movie narrates the difficulties of student aspirants dreaming to become doctors and the financial hardships faced by their parents to manage the exhorbitant costs incurred therein. The Director has aptly summarised the deficiencies in the Administration despite the fact that it registered staunch criticism on the core Education system. The message spelt out hits a strong nail on the Governance through crisp dialogues and wonderful performance of actors especially Rehman and Vidharth. Though the movie is purely meant for Non Commercial audience it would definitely help spread awareness about the direct involvement of Business vultures engaged in minting tonnes of money in the name of NEET Coaching besides denying the meritorious aspirants who could not make it due to flaws in our System. The theme of the movie spells out the fact that, "Choosing a Career in Medicine is an Individual Right and Option for every student but it's the Duty of the Government to ensure that a fair level playing platform in terms of Merit, Opportunity, Costs, Social and Economic criteria and the best Education Infrastructure is established so that no deserving lot is denied or become a distant dream to take up this Noble Profession." This movie should reach out to the comprehension of all the Lawmakers in our country to bring out Value-based Educational Reforms.

Movie that spells out the rich values of true family relationships. Hats off to the creator for making such a wonderful movie out of a simple script blended with emotions, sentiments and above all richness of family bondings. Class performance by Aravind Swamy in his own sophisticated style , Karthi in his native purity supported by Rajkiran whose acting always remains phenomenal. A must see family movie that would rehash countless memories of Family Relationships.

அருமையான படம். இரவில் பார்த்ததில் இருந்து மனசு ஒரு மாதிரி ஆயிடுச்சு. மனிதர்களை படிப்பதிலும், மனித மனம் எப்படி பட்டது மற்றும் அதன் வலிமை இந்த படத்தில் இருக்கும் மனித உளவியல் முற்றிலும் பிரமாதம். தமிழ் சினிமாவின் மிக முக்கிய படங்களில் கொண்டாட பட வேண்டிய திரைபடம். எந்த படங்கள் எல்லாம் அந்த மண்ணின், மக்களின் வாழ்வியலை படம் பிடித்து காட்டுகிறதோ அதுவே சிறந்த படம். விமல் & கருணாஸ் இருவரின் இயல்பான நடிப்பு மிகவும் கவர்ந்தது. சிறு சிறு கதா பாத்திரங்கள் கூட மிக நேர்த்தியாக கையாண்ட இயக்குநர் திரு மிக்கேல் ராஜாவின் படைப்பு மிகவும் கவர்ந்தது. இது போன்ற தரமான திரைப் படங்களுக்கு மக்கள் ஆதரவு நிச்சயம் அவசியம். ஒரே ஒரு மாற்று கருத்து. இரு சகோதரர்கள் தங்கள் தந்தையை தனி தனியாக தகனம் செய்தார்கள் என்று பிறகு உறவினர் நண்பர்களுக்குதெரியாமலா போக போகிறது.? உயிர் தியாகம் தற்கொலை தான் தீர்வு என்கிற பட கருத்தினை நான் முற்றிலும் எதிர்க்கிறேன்.

*MAHARAJ* now streaming in Netflix is based on true events of ‘1862 Maharaj Libel Case” in Bombay. It serves as an eye opener when religion and religious sentiments are used as a tool for political gains to get distracted from real issues and marketing themselves as the protectors of any religion. To be honest, I was carried away the other Tamil movie "MAHARAJA" and slipped this to watch this movie for some reason. but I was eager to pick up and watch being a huge fan of Aamir Khan since early 90s. Indeed, I was impressed by his son Junaid Khan’s acting skills who delivered a mind-blowing performance for his maiden movie. Definitely this boy will live unto his promise and rewrite his dad’s famous song line… पापा कहते हैं, "बड़ा नाम करेगा… बेटा हमारा ऐसा काम करेगा.. मगर ये तो कोई ना जाने कि मेरी मंज़िल है कहाँ (“PAPA KEHTE HAI BADA NAAM KAREGA… BETA HAMARA……) This movie aptly conveyed a strong message though it's sad to see people going blind in the name of the religion be it any religion. Such practices are found in every religion and it's something that we should look out for and find logical and scientific reasoning therefor. Nevertheless, the present generation lot have full right to know how women were exploited and fooled in the name of religion and wrong was done to them in the past. It’s a thought-provoking movie which exposes religious superstitions and evil practices of medieval India and throws light on many such issues which are still relevant in modern society. There are hardly few movies in the Bollywood that projects *"Socio-economic"* issues but it is heartening to find such movies now when audience run after vulgarity from movies like “Animal”. It is an underrated movie but it is *MUST WATCH* for the kids of the present generation lot and understand the fact that religious beliefs are intensively private, personal and sacred and are not bound by location or by any material form. It is commemorated in one's heart and not in public square as Our god always walks by our side and One doesn't need any bridge to reach HIM through any *AGENTS* or Self-proclaimed *PROTECTORS* of any Religion.

*JAMA* movie is an accidental pick up from the lot in Amazon Prime to spend my leisure last evening. Frame by Frame the movie helped me to recall my official visits to the remote villages and interacting with rural folks in Tiruvannamalai District during the late 90s. This movie is a flawless honest attempt in portraying the wonderful art and culture in our village drama troupe with a perfect mixture of emotions. One can actually travel alongwith the characters and feel the traces of anger, greed, humour, happiness, ego, grudge, endurance and what not? It's not just a movie, it's a perfectly crafted Art with Rural innocence at its Raw and Real Best and nothing short of extraordinary where all the characters embody every nuance of the screenplay with authenticity and grace. Debutant Director and Actor Pari Elavazhagan with his flawless and brilliant acting skills and making all the actors to live their characters truly deserves rich applause. With his inherent creative talents equipped with fabulous training he would decorate the film industry in future for sure. The movie technically excels in filmography for the making of costumes, light and live sound recordings with engaging performances of all the actors. Maestro Ilayaraja’s music is aptly suited to the theme of the script adding immense value to the cinematography. Amidst masala mixtures for commercial reasons trending in the society this Movie deserves a National award exclusively for the talented Pari Elavazhagan for his bold attempt to project the Rural reality without deviating from the main script and screenplay and focussing exclusively on the work of Art dedicated to rural drama artists. Though many may not attempt to view this movie but it really deserves to stay close to heart especially for all those who evince interest and passion in Tamil Folk Theatre Form.

It was a pleasant surprise to find INDIAN-2 streaming on Netflix today. Though I was hesitant to watch it with the given bad reviews and the proclaimed failure besides huge criticism in the social media, I was tempted to watch the movie being an ardent fan of Kamalahaasan for decades together seeing his teenage period movies till now acting as a septuagenarian. Amazing actor indeed as he will ever remain a true Ulaganayagan. This version is a thorough entertainer movie and I found it deserves rich accolades to the Director and all the artists who were perfectly suited to the character. The plot of the movie depicts the realtime ordeals that every single commoner face in our society dictated by the powerful lot in terms of Money and Political background, The success or failure of this reasonably well scripted movies is a direct reflection of citizen’s level of awareness about corruption related issues that are haunting our society. Kamal Haasan's outstanding performance with his looks and attires perfectly designed in line with the story using AI and VFX effects making it a top-notch movie. The plot of the movie revolves around the incurable disease "corruption" and the misery, agony of the underprivileged section of the society and their fight against justice and equality. The movie attempts to enlighten youth as to how it could be cleansed starting to identify the corrupt within family as a first step of eradication from the society. Though was movie was drawn to suit the general cinematic trends in terms of unrealistic fight or chasing scenes, high budget dance sequences, family sentiments, etc could be set aside to explore the real crux of the story that exposes the evils of corruption. It may be attributed to the fact that many Anti-Corruption agenda-based scripts are made boring and mockery due to the negative shades of Commercial Heroes in many box office hits. I wonder why there are so much negative comments about this movie and I admit that though this second part cannot match its first part, it is not that much bad either. Though the duration is very lengthy, It's definitely a watchable movie packed with a brilliant social message for fight against the deep rooted evil and perilous anthropogenic virus called corruption. Negative comments about the movie may be due to the lack of general awareness about current affairs. One must therefore ignore all the baseless and biased criticism about this movie as it is really worth watching to have a feel of great cinematic experience. The movie’s climax scene took a new lead for the next part and stands a perfect family entertainer suitable for all age group audience. Hence, I would definitely not hesitate to give a 4.5 Star Rating for this wonderful movie and eagerly wait for the release of the next part as early as possible with an enlarged perspective on legalized corruption.

Haraa - Comeback movie for the Silver Jubilee Star Mohan ended as a huge setback as it was a total disarray of screenplay and script. The Director aimed to portray the social menace of fake medicines blending with a purported emotional bonding between a daughter and father but too many irrelevant characters without any design of role casts made mockery of the subject. Politicians , Police officials and even terrorists were cast as comedians with Mohan delivering dialogues with his original voice made the viewers to feel that such movies are really stagnated in the stone age of film making with poor filmography, editing backed up with noisy background scores to fit as if the genre of the movie is a crime thriller. Charuhaasan, Yogi Babu and Mano Bala appears on the screen for few seconds to market the movie through Posters and Teasers before release. Movie fans of the 80s and 90s may be tempted to watch because of Mohan must feel terribly disappointed but should now understand the contributions of SPB , Ilayaraja and S.N. Surender resulted in huge success of Mohan during his peak time and without them Mohan should surely been an ordinary actor. A romantic hero of the 80s and 90s now appears a clueless and misfit actor sporting spectacles with an untrimmed beard and a frail look. Director really made a mess of the script indeed.
