A really quality piece of film making. This is less of a super hero movie, and more what the roots are in a really good vigilante movie. Some great casting with Patinson, Farrell and Dano all taking the characters to new places and likely not the last we have seen from them. It's dark and gothic like that Nolan trilogy, but also humanises Batman and gets away from the playboy Bruce Wayne and more the fractured person behind the mask. Well well worth a watch, and will probably be worth a good few rewatches.

A decent continuation of the franchise. Don't compare to the original, as that broke the mould. This one picks up with a clever back story to cover the time lapse, and the chemistry between Reeves and Moss is just as electric as in the first. My gripes could be that the action scenes were not as mind blowing as they could have been. I remember seeing "bullet time" and just thinking wow! Also, I still don't understand why Laurence Fishburne didn't come back to play Morpheus? Overall a decent movie that I enjoyed from first to last.

Idea is decent, the execution of it poor. Wahlburg doesn't have the wow factor to carry the role, and the scripting is poor. It's a watch if you want an action movie on a cold night. There are far, far better out there to better invest some real praise on.

You know what your getting with this. Tim Burton, Jonny Depp and the dark brooding streets of London. Well worth your time if your a fans of musicals, or gore. Great cast.
