Directorial debut and switch from a comedic role to drama for Kendrick was a surprise and she did great at both.
Zovatto captured the evil of Alcala so well that I had to stop watching the movie. I did watch it till the end with my husband.
This was a well done drama/suspense true crime. Definitely worth watching.
