I give this score to the film as failed completely the narrative of the book and it is this score for just the amount of action in it. I am sure that was much easier to adapt a perfectly screen-able book in a film than to completely overhaul it in something like the one produced, which does not any good to the Tom Clancy's book saga. The references for the following Rainbow Six at the end of the film are also completely out of the overall story line in the books, cutting off the main character Jack Ryan Sr. altogether. He is the fulcrum of the books story line following this first book Without Remorse and we have a tiny reference in this book that join the future connection between the two characters . Very poor screenwriting and this is not Tom Clancy's Without Remorse!
