'Flubber' is man's greatest achievement in all cinematic history. It's the film that put Robie Williams on the map.
I bought it on VHS, though I dropped the VHS player out the window, I still kept the tape and now have it hanging above my bed. ( I also have it on DVD)
I also loved Hugh Laurie's performance as professor Collin Sinclair, an interesting approach on the character that was not in the original radio drama of 'Flubber'
I have attempted to contact Niel De Grass Dyson on why 'Flubber' (The substance, not the film) has not been added to the periodic table of chemical elements. He gave no response.
Their loss.
A quality film for all ages. The probability of how 'Flubber'(the substance, not the film) make cars fly is one of the greatest unanswered questions of all time.
It's true that every name in the credits will go down in the history books. An amazingly striking tale loved by all those who watch/watched the timeless masterpiece. It, quite frankly, is was keeps this world running.
(The film, not the substance.)
