I watched this movie late last night, and woke up thinking:
- how long can someone take abuse?
-moving ahead and working hard to make your life better in the face of such difficulty, was amazing
-he had such a bond with his Mom and had to decide how long he was going to give up his future, and try to help her
-I was happy to read in the credits , that his Mom has been sober. The mental health system in our country is deplorable and so difficult to navigate.
I think this is a movie worth watching. It’s disturbing and repetitive, but food for thought in these challenging times. These problems are things that people have lived with in “normal” times.
