Did not really care for this adaptation at all. I had really high hopes as I absolutely loved the book and the original movie. The movie was very wishy washy, going back and forth between the past and present, never really allowing for character development or establishing any kind of timeline that you could follow. It never allowed you to develop any kind of relationship with the characters and never allowed you to bond with them. They glossed over Beth's character and never let you mourn her death. I feel the book and first movie carries a more mature scene while this one comes off as childish and flighty. So disappointed in the fact that it certainly should have had potential with an all star cast.😒
