I have had this particular cook book for over 20 years, and use it for pretty much everything. From basic soups and stews (the potato soup on page 136 is my wife's favorite), Turkey Tetrazini, baked goods, and amazing roasts, this cook book has EVERYTHING you can imagine, and more. Mine is so well used, that it has multiple stains, and wrinkled pages through out. It is probably one of the BEST basic, cook books you can get, PERIOD.
