Richard Perse

I am 1/2 through it and like a good bottle of wine Synonyms should be even better tomorrow when I finish it. The movie weaves it’s story with lyrical intensity. There are so many surprises here. The political sympathies of the director are never hidden, but there is nothing polemical in their expression. They are revealed sometimes comically in the protagonists reveries as he glides through Paris.
