It's nice and slow and that suits me just fine. A common criticism seems to be that nothing much happens but that's all part of the fun - the slow realisation that something major is going down, and it's global! I'm happy to go on the same ride as the characters, rather than find things out before they do. The first season of Heros made me feel similar. Lovely stuff.
