As someone who went through the system while recovering from a motorcycle crash and was passed fit for work even though I’d got a date for shoulder reconstruction surgery on my right shoulder while my left hand (which had been snapped off in the crash and surgically reconstructed) was still unable to grip while I had ongoing occupational therapy and physio therapy so I had to apply for jobs I couldn’t take and was offered food bank tokens at a food bank 3 miles away with no way to carry anything because of my injuries, no money to use public transport and left with 47 pence a week for food after paying rent and utilities this film is almost a documentary of how this rich country lets down its people when they need it most.
That murdering scumbag Ian Duncan Smith should watch this film and get some idea what it’s like to give up any form of dignity.
