*Big names, thin plot, a waste of time*: I went into seeing this movie with the expectation of being pulled in, at the very least. Not only does the movie fail miserably at keeping the viewer invested but the cliched plot feels like raw pork that someone might mistake for cheese(and spit out, rightly so). The only thing that holds this together is Gal Gadot's sex appeal coming on the back of Wonder Woman and the on screen chemistry between DJ and RR. They both could do with a movie that seems to go somewhere rather than just carrying on like a drag, never catching speed. Would not recommend watching.

In a world which is used to seeing things about them with rose-colored glasses; two families of four show us both sides of the world that we live in. This film has the potential to hit hard on the psyche of the rich-relaxed upper class as well as the just-getting-by lower. The film starts off with a light hearted tone in which the poorer family of four try to earn their living by hard work, which later takes a route of conning the family of the richer four into employing them for various purposes. The film carries in its 'hard-knock life' vein until a sudden twist spins the whole world of this family around and we are introduced to the 'Parasite'. The character which was a stand out for me was that of the father. The contempt of a poor man for the rich and vice-versa, because of the ever existing social divide can clearly be seen building through the brilliant performance of Kang-Ho Song who plays the father to the poorer of the children. Overall a good film to watch, keeps you glued through its brilliant and thought provoking narrative.
