I recently made a list of what I’ll tell people got me through 4 years of Trump and this was in my top 3. Absolutely love this show and watch it whenever I need a laugh, which is often. It makes fun of both sides (Bill Clinton’s criminally poor impulse control is right beside Eric Trump’s ...... well...... existence) and sure, it boils people down to their most publicly recognizable traits, but that’s satire. It’s essentially an episode-long political cartoon that allows us to chuckle at the absurdity of modern American politics. I can’t help but hear “I’m Wolf Blitzer and when I shave, my beard screams” when I turn on CNN. Call it toothless political commentary, but I use it as a coping mechanism.
