Jinxiang Ong

A beautiful story about love lost and growing up, set in the backdrop of the annual phenomenon of "chunyun" in China, this movie plucks the heartstrings in more ways than one. The emotions do not come flooding at points throughout the movie but builds up gradually, setting up for a tearjerker ending. Scenes are reminiscent of memories of growing up, of first loves, of heartache, and of too many words left unspoken and feelings bottled up. A true gem of a movie.
