So many of my friends had told me they didn't see what all the fuss was about, that it was boring, etc., so perhaps my expectations were low. True, the first act did lag a bit, but after that I was hooked, enthralled, and, in the end, incredibly moved. It's a wonderful movie and it deserves to win everything.
