There are two ways you can look at a glass with 50% water. In my opinion, the writer chose to see it "half empty". To end a generational curse you can show two ways, "redemption" or "quit". And here they chose to go the second way. Spoiler alert I would rather see "Ryle" saying give me time and let me seek help, Lily agreeing and saying if you're able to get this fixed through help, I am all in. But sadly it showed Lily not interested to continue this anymore and I didn't really like that when they showed a romantic relationship coming to an end unexpectedly where we could see a positive ending. Generational curse can be ended either way. Yet, a good lesson.

I think it is just awesome, i love watching this movie, watched so many times and still love it. A lot to learn from it. must watch.
