Naughty Dog did everything they could to destroy what they built in the first game. We did not get to play as Joel and he dies a few minutes into the game. We play as a random character that we have no emotional attachment to. We kept being reminded of what Tommy is doing but we do not get to play as him. We are forced to again play the character we have no emotional attachment to. By the time we do play as this terrible character, we absolutely do not care for them nor do we care that they live. The whole story was forced. They try to force Dina on us. Absolutely no point in putting into the story that she was pregnant. This is just forced writing. Jesse instantly dies too. Absolutely no proper character development in either of these characters. The 2nd half killed the franchise. The only thing good about the 2nd half of the game was that Tommy lived who we never got a chance to play as. DO NOT BUY.
