I’m just happy it wasn’t a musical and didn’t have speaking cgi lions. The cons was that they spoke English - very jarring! Overall, great film that emphasized the Chinese value of filial piety, very refreshing in today’s overly individualism world. It would serve humanity well to remember that the basic unit of a society, is a family consisting of natural man and natural woman and their off spring - that much is as natural as it is sacred. There are a lot of reviews disparaging the film due to political agendas. I encourage everyone to find the truths for themselves, and not be indoctrinated by the US narrative, lest we have another Iraq WMD situations again.
