I think way too many players, expected a cyber sleuth or world type action game... Sadly they will be the ones that grind the overall review of this great game down. I love the darker tone, a lot more adult and for a first attempt at bringing the original fans of the franchise into it is great. There is a lot of VN scenes but knowing that some choices will have heavy consequencies makes it that more engaging. I honestly want to see more adult centric games like these for my childhood games (and no I dont mean fanservice type rubbish) games like digimon and pokemon with more adult elements (like permadeath or serious injury, consequencies etc.)

Great game but I personally think after fatal bullet going back to being Kirito is going backwards... The franchise needs to move on from Kirito being the main character and take a page out of the fatal bullet game.
