I love historical shows and shows about royalty. I’m also a huge history nerd. I really enjoyed this show. The acting was pretty good and it seems to be accurate from what I’ve researched and learned about King Henry VIII. I actually really hated King Henry VIII, since Jonathan Rhys Meyers really played the role so well. Only thing, Catherine of Aragon’s Spanish is terrible. I speak Spanish fluently, it’s my mother tongue. And although, I do realize it is probably not the actress’ mother tongue, I had to put on subtitles to understand what she was saying. Which was really annoying to me. Aside from that, her acting was good and I felt very empathetic towards the character. All in all, I would definitely recommend.
